Advice on support at work

Feel free to contact us to have a chat if you want to know how to provide support for a Deaf employee or if you yourself are Deaf and need to arrange for support at your workplace. We also provide support for interviews, so get in touch!

Access to Work is a Government scheme that can sometimes help to fund support or equipment for work.

An application for an Access to Work budget / or a one-off funding must be made by the Deaf person or on their behalf. Approval can sometimes take a few weeks depending on what is needed. See the Gov website for more details and how to apply.

The Deaf Agency believe in empowerment. We will never take control of any clients Access to Work budget, but we will of course provide support to clients to control their own budgets.
